Golf bloggers are trying to do something special for U.S. troops, talking about Tiger Woods' hot body, and giving praise to Cristie Kerr this week. Here's what they're saying.

A week without a golf major means golf bloggers can get down to other important business, like congratulating new parents and bloggers who have stood the test of time:

• Tiger Woods new daughter Sam Alexis is getting all the press, but let us not forget to welcome Lisa, Henrik Stenson's new daughter, to the world, says Miranda at Even Par Round.

• If Karen Palacios-Jansen says you need to improve your golf IQ to improve your scores, well, I believe her, and so should you.
