Hole Number: 12
Yardage: 137

Hit the ball approximately 12" past the hole and it rolled in from the backside of the hole. The green sloped from back to front and I got just enough roll off the slop to get it to go in hole.

A group was letting me play through. I hit a really solid shot that i thought was going to be pretty close. It ended up landing about 3 feet short, took one nice little hop and a roll, and dropped right in. It was my first ace, and one of the coolest feelings i have ever had in golf.

I'm used to routinely driving Par 4's from tee-to-green. However, not in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I'd get my FIRST Hole-In-One on a Par 4! That just never crossed my mind. I was the last of my foursome to tee-off on the 347-yd. Par 4 second hole. I decided to drive the ball down the left side of the fairway over a tall tree about 280 yards away, and bring it back with a slight 'cut'. Well, when i rode down the fairway to see where my ball had landed, the group in front of us on the grenn were so excited and told me my ball was in the hole. I went up to the green and sure enough, there was my ball - in the hole! They said they were marking their balls on the green preparing to putt and my drive hit the green about six feet in front of the cup, and bounced straight in the hole. For me and the people who saw it happen... it was a special day in the history of Miami Springs Golf and Country Club. This feat had never been done before in the over 80-year history of the course.

After a long day of caddying for a outing sponsored by JetBlue, us caddies took over the course, and played a full round of golf. Looking at my score card next to me, I was 3 over on the front nine. Normally, I'd be doing better, but I was so sore, it hurt to torque my body the way I normally would. Working through the back nine, I got to 4 under, and was tied for 4th. After the long 16th hole, a BRUTAL par 5, which I birdied, with a 37 foot put by the way, making me 5 under, we got in the carts and drove the short distance to the 17th. There was a group of caddies in front of us, and the caddie master was in that particular group. We all got out of the carts to watch the caddie master, who NEVER plays in public, or should I say, when WE'RE (the caddies) are also playing, so it was a treat. This guy is good. He hit his ball so straight, it hit the pin, but kept on rolling, and ended on the fringe. The rest of the group teed off, and then, they left for the green. The fairway is EXTREMELY narrow, but it was slow. In order to birdie or par, you HAD TO HIT THE GREEN from the tee. As they finished the 17th, they decided to wait for us since there was a group ahead of them on the 18th who had just gotten there. As me and my buddies went through the rounds, we kept on cheering. The other three guys in my group hit the green, andwere less than a foot away from the cup, easy birdies. As I watched the balls soaring, I noticed the wind slacken, which was good for me. I took my 4 iron, and took a few swings. I pulled a bit of grass, and guaged the wind, and there practically was none. I took a full practice swing, and it just killed me, I was hurtin, but I knmew I had to suck it up, or be called a wussy. I lined my shot up, and took a swing, and powered through the shot. You should've seen this baby, it was ALMOST like the caddie master's earlier shot, I mean, this baby was soaring straight at the pin, but my shot was higher in the air. As I watched, I watched ball hit the green, and with a single high bounce, it went right in the middle. I immediately pulled an Adam Sandler, and rode my 4 iron around the tee box, and I could hear the chears from the group and caddie master. It was amazing. Just last month, I had a hole in one on the 8th, and now I had another one. After my ace, I was tied for 2nd place at 7 under, and the leader was at 8 under. Sadly, I ended up bogying the 8th because of a poor chip shot that went right into the bunker, but I was so psyched, I didn't even care I lost 20 bucks :p

I hit the 8 iron and all we heard was the ball hitting the flag. The green was above us, so we could not see where the ball ended up. We walked onto the green and sure enough - SLAM DUNKED the ball right in the hole. My First HOLE IN ONE in 30+ years of golf.

In the Norfolk & Good Golf Society Monthly medal using my trusty Ping Tisi 3 wood into the wind and over a lake the ball flew straight toward the slightly elevated green. The ball then disappeared and we all thought it had gone through the green. Spending 5 or so minutes looking for the ball both behind and infront of the green, Fred says "have you looked in the hole?" I wander over to the hole and there she is! No celebration on the tee as we didn't know it had gone in but plenty of celebrations afterwards with a round of fizz and a bottle of whisky for all 31 who were in the competition that day. Fantastic!

Footjoy shoes Titlesit ball & Orlimar ocg 9iron, all retired now. I only hope im there someday to see my sons first ace. Besides my group was very inexpensive when it came time to buy a round.
