Dunbar Golf Club should be on every Scottish golf bucket list. If you must, skip Carnoustie or some other highly regarded big-name course to visit the friendly club with a fantastic links hugging the Firth of Forth. Despite a lack of modern length, the 6,597-yard par 71 plays tough enough in the ever-present wind to host a British Open qualifier whenever the R&A visits Muirfield.

Located a short drive from the Czech city of Liberec, Ypsilon Liberec Golf Resort is well situated in the hilly countryside on the borders of Czech Republic, Poland and Germany. The course hosted a Challenge Tour event in 2008 and has been tabbed by Golf Digest more than once as the country's top course. The golf course and facilities at Albatross Golf Resort, located just 25 minutes outside of Prague's city center, were built to the highest standards. That may explain why just a year after opening in 2009, it was voted the best course in the Czech Republic. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills at the border of the Bohemian Kras, which rises to 420 meters above sea level.
