A public course in Czech spa country: Golf and Racing Club Karlovy VaryGolf and Racing Club Karlovy Vary Set on the grounds of a horse racing track and completed in 2004, this public golf course in the celebrated western Bohemian spa town of Karlovy Vary uses nine fairways and 18 greens. To play the standard 18 holes, golfers play each fairway twice, but each time to a different green. The length of the holes range from 120 meters (par 3) to 485 meters (par 5). While Golf and Racing Club Karlovy Vary is not a championship course, this 4,932-meter track was built in accordance with USGA norms, the standard for golf course construction around the world.
