The PGA Tour has ordered alterations to the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain after complaints by players such as Tiger Woods during the recent World Golf Championship-Accenture Match Play Championship. Though designer Jack Nicklaus says he isn't happy with all the proposed changes, some are already going forward, including a move to soften some greens.

The golf courses at The Phoenician are just like the resort where they are located. There's a grandiose, elegant clubhouse and perfectly manicured turf as far as the eye can see, all set against the magnificent backdrop of Camelback Mountain. The course isn't long, but it is good golf. More importantly, it's enjoyable and course conditions are flawless.
