Harsh article indeed. Don't take the fun out of golf.

Chris Baldwin is obviously out of touch with what golf is all about, as well as ignorant about markings. Sergio made a bomb and had the edge. It is rare to see a competitor top a birdie putt like that in a playoff...but"it does happen" I agree, with others here that the match demonstrated the type of character Sergio possesses, to loose with dignity and a smile on his face to someone who obviously played a hole a bit better. Nothing to apologize for and certainly nothing to criticize.

What tournament was Chris Baldwin watching? Garcia blew kisses to the SHOTLINKS guy that determined he was out (that measn farther from the hole Chris) so he got to putt first. Most would tell you they'd rather putt first in this situation so he was thankful for their measurement. They both laughed, gave each other high 5's for making their putts and headed to the next tee. They are friends off the course (Vijay said so in his post game interview) and they enjoyed the competition in the playoff. I thought it was classy and great sportsmanship on both parts. Baldwin may need to find another profession as he is obviously clueless. Red OB line? Huh? Preface the article with "I HATE SERGIO!"

Sorry Sergio said himself in interviews afterwards that he was not blowing the kisses to the Shotlink guys had been assumed on TV. But he didn't want to say who the kisses were for.
I'll take Sergio's word on that one.

a RED out-of-bounds line??

It was a red lateral hazard line (marking some cables that ran alongside the hole), not an OB line.

Yeah - there was out of bounds red hazard-line drawn at some holes on this course., typically marking the boundary of thick/wild brush.
