Whats worse than sore losers? Bad winners... September 23, 2008, 4:36 am

The Ryder cup is fast becoming known more for the lack of sportsmanship (mostly on the part of the US) than for its greatness as a sporting spectacle...this year the golf was superb but was once again marred by the shoddy behaviour of the spectators and also Kim's attitude on the course (even when he wasn't playing).

The Ryder Cup is so different from your average golf tournament you cannot apply your expectations of sportsmanship without taking that into consideration.
Did he taunt his opponent, rip off his shirt, jump into the stands??? He respectfully shook his opponents hand at the end of the match and he and Sergio were both friendly. The behavior by players and fans alike may not have been as reserved as most golf events but I don't think you have a case for lack of sportsmanship.
Both sides delivered wonderful golf and a great event. You have delivered an unsubstantiated and negative opinion.
