Adjustable Kids Clubs January 23, 2008, 6:40 am

As the inventor of the world's only adjustable kids club, Accu-Length, this ruling is a fantastic opportunity for parents and kids to now have perfectly fit clubs for up to 5 years of use. While I see the potential downside and confusion for the average adult golfer, this ruling is clearly a WIN for juniors, parents, grandparents and retailers who want to engage in our KIDFIT program for FREE sizing and re-sizing. Saves parents money, creates revenue and repeat business for participating retailers, and keeps kids perfectly fit for better play.

I find your opinions to be right on the money and the fact that you do not hold back in voicing your opinions.
I cannot agree more with you on this latest story about adjustable golf clubs. These gimmicks can only end up hurting the next best invention as the consumers are going to get turned off with the stuff that is being piled on to make a quick buck from the gullible public.

Adjustable golf clubs???
Really? There is a secret organization
of golf club manufacturers that "owns"
the USGA???! I would never guessed it.
Can't we get back to the true spirit
of the game when the thing was a sincere
challenge, and men had to keep their head out of that dark place to excell?

ADJ.CLUBS & COSTS January 22, 2008, 1:16 pm

The cost of clubs are so expensive because of millions of dollars in advertising campaigns to convince us we absolutely need their products. Blame the people who buy Nike golf balls because Nike showered Tiger with millions of dollars to tell us to. Expect to be inundated with spokespersons and advertising copy to convince you that you can shoot lower scores (just like the pros) with adjustable golf clubs. There is no substitute for practice and lessons to improve your golf scores, and its cheaper.

I don't imagine I will ever see an article but I would be very interested in how clubs made in China can cost so much! $400 for drivers and $150 for irons. I understand there are there are 4/5 factories who actually make the clubs for all the brand names and the component cost is what $15/20. I know there's R & R but the actual cost to me is exorbitant. This is why I never buy new.
