I enjoyed the "fall season". I got to see many guys who don't normally get the coverage. The same for courses. As a sportsfan and perpetual underdog supporter I enjoyed following the moneylist standings online while watching the players on tv . I love golfing and following golf. It's not about the player, it's about the game.

I was disappointed to read your opinion of fall golf. While Tiger, Phil and Ernie may not have been playing, my friends and I have a different opinion. We very much enjoyed seeing some of the players we don't usually get to know and to see them fight to retain their card made the whole thing very interesting. Try not to be so cynical and just enjoy the wonderful play these folks give us to view.

End of the year is a YAWN! Too many commercials running during tournaments. Anchors seem to think that they must say something every minute. All we want to see, and hear is golf. Don't need Kelly, Faldo or anyone telling us that "He's left himself a two footer coming back." It's as though they're reporting an event for a radio audience. Wish they would be quiet unless they have something interesting to say. Take a clue from the European Anchors. Silence is golden.
