I agree with your article. In addition, even though I love golf, for the fans watching a match it doesn't get the adrenlin going like March Madness or the Super Bowl does. Unless, of course, you see Tiger walking down the 18th at the Masters with a five stroke lead.
Further, sports where two teams compete against each other are always going to be more exciting to watch than a single person sport like golf.
How much gambling is there on golf unless it's the Masters or U.S. Open?
I participate in the office pools on basketball, football and the world series, but we've never had a pool on golf.
