I find it hillarious that people are "worrying" about Tiger. His Dad died. Life goes on. No one worries if the baker's bread will be less tasty after his Dad dies. Let a nurse give someone the wrong shot after her Dad dies and some ambulance chasing attorney will sue the hell out of her. No sympathy, no remorse, no excuses. Life goes on for all of us. The difference is if Tiger never swings a club again, he's financially set well into the second coming of Christ, he's married to a goddess, his Mom is still around and the man has ALREADY made a larger mark on golf than 97% of all golfers who ever played the game.
Tiger will be just fine. It's Daly everyone should be worried about!!

H-E-L-L-O....If you happened to pay a little closer attention, you might have noticed that Davis Love III, Sergio Garcia, Stuart Appleby, Justin Leonard, Retief Goosen, Chris DeMarco, and a slew of other names missed the cut as well. Where is all the speculation on why these guys failed?

I know everyone needs something to talk about...However 1 Tournament does not a career make. Tiger & Phil are two of the Best to ever play, they are in a small fraternity of men. It really doesn't matter how many more Majors either one of them win. They are great players and have reaaly advanced the game- Likely changed the face of it as did Palmer, Nicklas & Miller and before them Hogan. The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun...There will be great players after themm too. Lets just enjoy their immense talent while we can and look forward to the future of the game.

I am a NYer and a Tiger fan. However, I think it was pretty gluttonous and irresponsible for him to have his 155 foot yacht and private jet in NY for The Open.

It's amazing - everybody is writing Tiger's obituary - To all - he missed 1 cut in his professional life and everybody thinks it's the end of his life - I love to watch Tiger and watch him win - he is the only golfer that wins on the tour - most just don't lose the tournment - when tiger is towards the top of the leader board he will continue to compete until the last hole - and you could be sure he wouldn't do what Phil or Monty did. The course was playing extremely tough - give the course and Olgivy credit - he played the last 4 holes in par - he made putts and got up and down - that's what wins Open championships - Tiger is not dead - he missed one cut - why don't you talk about all the other top golfers that missed the cut - we found out Tiger is Human and that's not a bad thing.
