One of the problems that men have with some women golfers (and bad golfers in general) is a big problem with the game itslelf - "Too time consuming". Anyone that takes 5 hours to play a round is a problem. Golfers new to the game need to spend more time at the range and taking some lessons with a pro. They will find the game more enjoyable and so will the others around them. I don't know how many times that I've seen women in twosomes refusing to let others join them because they're "embarrassed" about their game. Go practice and get over it. Twosomes generally slow everyone down. If you're that bad, then hit the ball, use some foot wedges, don't keep score and move things along. No one behind you will care.
I've had some great rounds playing with women. They're certainly better looking than my beer-bellied friends and there's something about having a lady present that makes one rethink helicoptering a pitching wedge into the nearest tree.
