I agree with you to some degree on your article,but you have to keep in mind that Phil,Ernie,Vee Jay,Sergio,and any other golfers that remotely could win a tournament would rather play when (Tiger)not in the field.Because they know that there playing for second.Because tiger has brought so much money to golf that's what phil,ernie,vee jay,and sergio play for.Don't get me wrong if they luck up on a win they'll take it.you can't put any of those guys in the same leauge with tiger.All of those guys are in the B leauge of golf.tiger told you of his intentions from the beginning to win majors.Especially to break all of jack's records.What did any of the rest of them say nothing.But they say they have a goal (yes)to make that money behind tiger.Isn't it a shame that last year the number of tournaments tiger played and they still can't seperate themselves from him in the money end of playing golf.Nobody really wants to watch golf if tiger isn't in the field check the tv ratings.Sports writers have to take some of the blame of what's going on in golf always talking about tiger.Is he going to be the same golfer when he get's married,How he left the tournament and possibly had a chance for a playoff.You sports writers have to keep tiger on tv,in your newspapers and magazines like he's the only golfer out there.It's like you're telling the other golfers that there not worthy of your ink.I understand the marketing and the way you have to sell ypur products.Just maybe yall should have a requirement to reach the golf's hall of fame you need to win 10 majors.And then you would see a more competitive play each and every week.It's to easy for them to get in the Hall of Fame and it's to easy for them to make miillions on the tour now that tiger put the money out there.
i got into the game of golf because of tiger but i have always been a competitier in all sports.these guys just don't compete.Look at the guys coming down the stretch with tiger when he's in a position to win they fall by the wayside.But you know what they knew that they weren't going to win anyway.But that second or third place check sure looks good.The play to the camera's.I'm not telling you something that you don't already know.Just reopening your eye's so that you can see the truth all over again.

I agree it would be nice if the top 20 had to play in the same event more often. But you also seem to be opposed to them traveling to events all over the world, where would you have these events US I suppose. Perhapes you should change your name to USA Golf.
Whats your problem with top Euorpeans playing in Europe. How would you like it if the top US players all played frequently outside the USA.
