It always amazes me how one individual can warrant so much attention. Then again it could pose some problems in the future. What if Venus got her penis back.Where would He/she or whoever play golf then.

World's highest courses February 16, 2005, 2:06 pm

In your article of 26/06/03 the course at Tuctu, Peru was mentioned. I am now managing a mining project in that area. We are not going to reactivate the Tuctu course although the course is still there. Please add to your list of highest courses, Incapuquio GC at Toquepala, Peru at 8600 ft and Cuajone Golf Club and Cuajone, Peru at 8800 feet and the Arequipa Golf Club at Arequipa, Peru at 8600 feet. All are still active.

Your article and its overtones, are terrible. Can't your see that all aspects of society are being tainted by people and causes that are not natural.
We as a human race are being poisoned by mentally ill people. Maybe not today or soon, but one day this issue will ruin women's atletics.

freaks February 16, 2005, 8:11 am

Hey Kathy when was the last time you looked in the mirror? Maybe you are the one that is the "freak" or maybe you are the one who hides behind the bible whenever you don't understand your surroundings. Just because their makeup is not understood by YOU, they still have a right to play in their "league". Their have always been "freaks" and there will always be "freaks" as long as there are people like you; a freak that would rather point the finger than try to realize that these are people, human beings. NOT FREAKS. I hope you and your blind and narrow minded "normal" people just go away.

I'm sorry, but it must be a slow news day when trans-gender golfers grab the headlines. Having said that, there are image issues to consider in all sports, given the esteem in which we hold our professional athletes. Whether it's steroids in baseball, fan punch-ups in basketball, mooning the crowd at Lambeau field or who stands up to pee in the clubhouse, those who make their money in sports are role models, and the message they send can influence a generation.

Mr. Baldwin,
If something is "unique," it is, by definition, one of a kind. It cannot be "more unique" or "most unique."
Your take on the trans-gender issue is thoroughly juvenile. While the notion that muni players would report to their physicians for surgery may provide yucks for you, it trivializes the entire issue. I would expect to find more thoughtful analysis in junior high school newspapers.

All I can say is there are way too many freaks out there these days.
