Paul Lawrie won British open not US open. Look also for Thomas Bjorn as a possible Major winner. Came close last year in PGA and the year before in British open.

Thanks for pointing that out. A silly error on my part.
And you are correct about Bjorn. He does have a penchant for being near the top at big events. He just may be the guy.
