Funny thing about competition is,that anyone can win at any given time.Curtis and Hamilton did exactly that by playing their best golf, that was a notch better than everyone else.Phil is defintely one of the best golfers on tour and is as capable of winning this tournament as anyone. And I also predict, that if he and Tiger have another shootout,Phil will kick major BUTT!!!

I also enjoy watching Phil play. That said, I hate watching him dissolve at crucial times. I just don't think he has the mind set to go toe to toe w/ the "big boys" when the chips are onthe table. VJ does, Ernie does, (though he fogs out occassionally), but Phil overthinks. Hope I'm wrong.

| Phil's 2nd Green Jacket |

Phil just won another tournament and has the same opportunity but probably more incentive than many of the other players out there. He just makes the game fun to watch. He is a competitor, but never forgets his manners, and always plays by the rules. He always has time for his family. When Tiger was younger and had no "life" he was able to concentrate on golf and win everything. As soon as he became engaged and got married, things changed and he "got a life". Golf wasn't the ONLY thing in his life and he wasn't winning as many tournaments as he did prior to that time. Golf is JUST a game. Ask Jack.

Lay off the beertruck guy. The beuty of golf at any pro level is that on any given day anyone can win. Unless you could go one on one with the beertruck guy and win 100% of the time. That event he won was very exciting, what a finish. Most champs on the Champions tour can kick ass any day of the week.

I acknowledge your comments of Phil Mickelson winning a second green jacket this week. Despite me not cheering for him in particular this week I should be even keeled enough to say it is not an impossibility!
Only close friends and family would have predicted Curtis, and Hamilton being winners. So you may have to expect watching some of the champions tour this year!
Either way enjoy the week and year!

One other thought - if Lefty has to play with Tiger on Sunday afternoon in the final group, there is no way he beats Tiger - even if he has a three or four shot lead at the outset. Tiger is into his head and he believes he can't beat Tiger. Lefty has the shots but he doesn't have the steely resolve that Tiger has.
