your article re musselburgh will benifit from expansion with opinion by bill farnsworth.it should be noted that mr farnworth is the horse race course manager.he has no afection for golf what so ever ! this golf couse whose proper name is musselburgh old couse.site of brittish open championships.the open.is accepted by the royal and ancient as being the oldest golf couse in the world !it is situated on common good land , held in trust for the people of musselburgh and surrounding areas by the local council "east lothian council".who with interested parties namely local councilors also run through musselburgh joint racing committee the horse racing.the proposed expansion will be detrimental to the historic links which helped spread golf world wide in no small measure.for more information see http--www.handsoffourlinks.com
p.s. photograph is of musselburgh golf course which is completely wrong!for your information its also not the royal musselburgh golf club. its the musselburgh old course.THE OLDEST COURSE IN THE WORLD."UNDER-THREAT"
