I don’t know if the Golf Channel realizes it or not, but there has been a noticeable slide on The Big Break from a focus away from the golf to what I must call "cheap reality TV."
The current series is a perfect example. You started with a group of 12 women golfers, most of which were very professional. But there are sharks in the group who, in addition to playing golf, have chosen to play each other in order to win.
Lori is the Mother Shark and has acted in a deplorable manner. Any respectable Club would have withdrawn her privileges long ago. She, and a few others, are draging the program into the gutter. Unfortunately, the respectable golfers have all been eliminated, Susan being the last one last night, and so has the general interest in The Big Break!
