As a frequent visitor to Hawaii, I have played the Prince course many times. As a 5 hcp it is as hard as it gets. I love to bring my low handicap friends over to experience such a demanding layout and swallow their pride with the mid-80's scores. It gets my vote for the number 1 course to play.

Princeville Golf course April 1, 2008, 12:23 pm

I played the course on my honeymoon and it was great, although the greens were not in the best shape (Feb 23, 2008). I shot a 79 from the white tees mostly because my iron shots were perfect (I am a 7 handicap) and I played from the white tees. Don't go if you're a guy who just likes to blast the tee shots and then go and find it.
The GPS tips were a great help and I listened to most of them except on the 13th hole where a cut the corner and got lucky. The par 5's on the front nine was very confusing and again I got lucky with my tee shots and on the second one I hit a great 5 iron to the green in 2.
It wa by far my favorite course!
