Yep, I think we stand a greater chance in the Ryder Cup now that he is out. I remember a cup or 2 back when asked about this dismal record he replied "what was Jack's record in the Ryder Cup?" Of course, no one knew. Then he asked "how many majors has Jack won?" Of course, they all knew. So, that tells me his focus is on the majors, and that's fine. Just not a team player. Go USA!

Jack's record in the Ryder Cup was less than average, and he also focused on winning majors. Does that make Jack someone who is not a team player? You just another one who prides himself on "spinning" any little thing to devalue Tiger. The point Tiger was making was, stop putting the issue of Ryder Cup wins on him, especially when his overall records matches up very well with Mr. Nicklaus.

I have always thought that Tiger intimidates eveybody he plays with, friend or foe. I don't think it's just because of his golf, I suspect it's because he's not much fun to play with. It's not really a game with him. It's more like a trial for muder. He has been defeated a few times by Brits because golf, it appears, is still more of a game for them, not a fulfillment of destiny.
Rocco had him. He just had to drive his ball better on the 18th and make a birdy like he did before. It seemed like,in the end, he couldn't make himself keep believing. One thing sure, Tiger's absence is going to cost a lot of people a lot of money. He's the one the crowds want.

If you two feel he has to sit out for other professionals to have a chance to win, what does that say about their level of ability? And why knock Tiger because he's so good? The other tour players just need to play better.
