Please proof read before you publish. YThe women have the LPGA and the men have the PGA. If you start allowing women to play on the PGA Tour, than men should play on the LPGA. If any of the 60-120 played on the LPGA, they would dominate and that's it. Let's stop trying to have women play above there level. Michelle Wie turned out to be the biggest failure. She could have had such a dominant younger career but that has gone by now. No big trophy case in her house. Let's not ruin Ochoa's career. If it is about her making money like the PGA, than do something to help the women make more.

| Wetting yourself |

You really need to find some help with your professional ability to write intelligent stories that are worthy of publication by your employer. I doubt if they are wetting themselves over your creativity.

Not sure if you've written about golf before, but you obviously haven't been following the Sorenstam and Wie experiments. How can some skinny little girl 110 pds. soaking wet compete in the men's power game? She may be good in the woman's game - but not even close in the men's game.
The pee and urine images don't add much to your story..in fact seriously detract.
Cheers,
John

I quit reading your story after you talked about urine....can you not find better words...you are supposed to be a professional writer and I find that wording very low on the charts...you did not make the cut with this story!!

Ochoa is a terrific player. Unfortunately pin head, as a young gal (along with all the other mini skirts on the tour she is being promoted by the LPGA by talking heads from the media (that includes you) to increase ratings which increases advertising revenue which all means bigger pots of gold for the girls from sponsors. Look at the age and % of males the commercials are aimed at and you get the point. There is no way she could compete from the back tees with the top 10 men, ever.

| Women VS men - a better idea |

Ochoa at the Masters? Some years back thee great Swede tried to qualify for a PGA Tour event and missed by a few shots. It was my view that she could have made it with a little more intensity. She hit to the edhes of a number of greens and fakiled to get up and down. and therin lay the m argin. However, money isn't everything. Would Ochoa enjoy being in 'the top 60' of anything when she can be No 1 among her peers? There should be some sort of better ball competition event for men and women partners. That would be interesting to watch and would give the gals a chance to rate themselves alongside the men.More fun to play as partner with Tigerx or Phil, or Ogilvie or one of them. Great for TV spectators. Thanks, Tom

Why does it have to be a competition AGAINST the men why can't it be a competion against Augusta "with" the men? Like Annika said at the Colonial to test her mettle compared to the PGA Players. I believe the number one female player in the LPGA should be automatically invited each year to the Masters. Period.
