Fall on Myrtle Beach with these great autumn golf packages

By S. Adam Cardais,
Staff Writer

There are two simple reasons fall is a great time to take a golf trip to Myrtle Beach: weather and price.

In September the South Carolina climate turns pleasantly mild, with temperatures often in the 70s, offering Yankee golfers a break from the chill that starts creeping through the northern states come fall.

Going to Myrtle Beach "is a good way to escape from the colder environments," said Carson Courage of golf packager Myrtle Beach Travel.

Myrtle Beach is also cheaper in autumn than in spring, and there are plenty of golf packages out there that will help you get the most bang for your buck.
