Marc Solomon has stood the test of time as one of the most popular instructors in the nation, as he's led his Golf Made Simple Instruction School to being listed as the "3rd Best Golf School In America" by Men's Journal Magazine.

With his honest approach to teaching a golf swing, Solomon has thousands of satisfied fans throughout the nation, both from his school's teachings, as well as his articles and blog, "The Wisdom of Solomon" on WorldGolf.com.

Showing that he wants to continue forward, however, Solomon has started a new podcast highlighted at WorldGolf.com: Golf Tips are for Monkeys. Solomon talked about his new podcast recently, and what he feels it will offer golfers looking for an advantage.

Why the name "Golf Tips are for Monkeys"

It's absolutely incredible the amount of golf information that's available to golfers on how to "supposedly" improve their game! And the typical golfer is always trying to "find the magic" that will instantly transform them into a consistent ballstriking machine.

Though what happens is the golfer ends up constantly "Fiddling" with their swing with each new golf tip. And since it's a "Monkey See, Monkey Do" world on the Driving Range - every golfer hears every other golfer telling them about the latest golf tip they're working on - that every body wants to do what the other monkey is doing.

So even though going from golf tip to golf tip hasn't helped in the past, the monkey doesn't want to be left behind, so they continue to do what the other monkey's are doing!

What do you want golfers to get from the podcast?

The ridiculousness of all the complicated golf instruction that's based just merely on the "Theories and Assumptions" of anybody that has a platform such as the Golf Channel, Golf Magazine or the Internet to showcase their methods. We want Golfers to realize that most of what we're hearing isn't based on a "Results Based Approach". Most of what is out there is based on someone believing that the more complicated they make it, the more that they'll be regarded as golf swing guru.

We want golfers to know that most golfers don't improve using video analysis! Most golfers have their scores get worse after being told everything that's wrong with their swing, along with every correcting maneuver they need to make. I still ask anybody that has had video analysis on their swing if they improved by six strokes or more since that lesson. And the answer so far has been 1,289 golfers saying "No, I didn't improve six strokes." And 1,152 of those golfers have said that their scores have actually gotten worse!

Yet, golfers will continue to go get video analysis because all they hear about is how great it is. Show me the results of golfers improving. Someone show! We haven't used video in over seven years because we found out that it didn't work. We have so many golfers that have come to see us that have improved so much, why would we use something that doesn't work? We're not going to use it, just to be able to say that we use it? Everything we do is based on our golfers seeing results!

How are you enjoying doing the podcast so far?

We're loving it! We're having so much fun - and I believe we have some really interesting, cutting edge ideas that we use during our Golf Made Simple Programs that we're now going to be able to convey using the Podcast, whereas it might not have come out as good just using text.

The future of The Golf Tips for Monkeys podcast is bright!
