The same technology we created in the standard Acer XK fairway series is transformed into an offset version for those players that suffer from a fade, push or slice and wish to hit the ball straighter. The sleek, low profile design shifts weight further back behind the shaft than any other club in our extensive line to create superior accuracy. These high-launching clubheads feature many visual elements to assist in aligning the face toward the target instead of creating a “band aid” approach like so many offset models on the market today.

There are three important technological features that make these higher performance clubs. First, we incorporated our variable face thickness to reduce the perimeter area of the impact area so the entire club face could be more active. This acts to increase the area of forgiveness over a larger portion of the face. Secondly, the crowns were constructed with exclusive VCT (variable crown technology) and measure as little as 0.5mm thick. All the unwanted weight normally reserved for the crown was repositioned deep within the head. Lastly, the wide profile increases the Moment of Inertia. All these features provide for a high launching ball flight with incredible accuracy. Multiple lofts are offered including those not commonly found from a strong 3-wood for players who have no problem getting the ball airborne to a high-lofted 9-wood. One addition is a 4-wood for those players wanting just one fairway wood in their bag. This allows you to add an extra wedge or hybrid to your set and stay within the 14 club minimum. Also, our 4-wood is an outstanding solo fairway wood for ladies or seniors looking for the perfect partner to a high-lofted driver.

As the Avatar XMOI fairway woods are built to bridge the gap from the extra large driver to the matching transitional hybrids, the shape is proportionally sized. The 3-wood being the hardest to hit, it is the largest to provide maximum forgiveness. Then the 5 and 7 woods are gradually scaled down to provide more than enough forgiveness. The shallow face, coupled with our VCT (variable crown thickness) places weight low and deep within the head for superior results.

The profile of the Caiman Fairways follows the same unique geometric shape as the matching Caiman driver. Every small detail was thoroughly examined from the squared off heel and toe areas, reduced face progression, decal size and locations to the masking of the paint lines. All of these features are designed to frame the club and assist in alignment to your target. Hireko engineered these fairway woods with a variable crown thickness (as little as 0.5mm which is as little as the thickness of 5 sheets of paper!) The Caiman Rawpower Forged Fairway Wood features an ultra-thin maraging steel face insert to increase the ball speed coming off of the face approaching the legal COR limit for spring-like effect. In addition to the "hot" face we elected to utilize "cup face" technology. This moves the weld significantly behind the face will possess a greater trampoline effect over the entire hitting surface resulting into greater distance rather than just the center of the face.
