Could be cleaner
The staff and / owners smoke and leave overflowing ashtrays all around the clubhouse. It gets stinky easily. The tree that was hit by lightening and fallen onto the blue teebox on the ninth hole has been removed. The bunkers are still overgrown, I dont know why rakes are even next to them, they will more likely cause a golf ball to kick out and go who knows where.
Good course for fair price.
This is not a champion course or a very challenging course. It does have its challenges and a couple of long par 5's. Pars are likely and if you're long off the tee, a birdie or two is possible. Most of the holes have a dog leg and are hilly. $21 will get you 18 holes(Two rounds on this 9-hole course) and a cart. You can do 9 in two hours easily. The prettiest hole is hole 9. It has water at the front right and front left of the green. But it is a par 3 and can be reached easily in one. I dropped a tee shot just in front of the green between the water hazards. A short chip and a one putt to drain it gave me par. The pin placement is changed on all the holes regularly. So each weekend you play it, it will be different. They have weekday specials as well, like unlimited golf every Wednesday after 2 pm. It gets dark late so you can play 36 holes easily before the sun goes down.
The hole I would consider the signature hole is hole 2. It is also a par 3 but a long par 3. It is reachable in one with 5w or easy 3w. I hit it with a 5H. I usually over shoot it with 3w or Driver. If you drop it short, re-tee and take the penalty. The grass is super tall. If you let it, it will get in your head. I have played a lot of courses and this is one of the more challenging par 3's. Fortunately, I have learned from other courses to block it out.
After you play the 7th hole, you have to cross between 5 and 6 to get to the 8th hole. A bit odd but also kind of a signature thing with this course. Most of the people that play here are average but the pace is fairly good. Not too fast or too slow. I did see a group of eight today and the course rules state explicitly no groups of 5 or more.
