Fox Lake Golf Club
About
Fox Lake Golf Club originally opened in 1922 as a nine-hole course and it remained that way for over eight decades until in 2004, a second nine was added. Since there was such a large gap in between when the two nines were created, the course has an interesting character that combines both traditional and modern elements. There are several tough doglegs to contend with and they can be especially hard to maneuver on windy days. A few water hazards come into play in the form of ponds and a meandering stream that runs alongside some of the holes, including what is arguably the golf course's toughest. The par-4 eighth hole doglegs right with a narrow fairway and a small, undulating green. Those who play it smart will favor the left on their tee shot.

Great course to go out and swing your clubs. Plays to all levels of experience. Friendly staff. Great weekdays special before 11AM ($25-18 w/cart)
The course isn't the most challenging, but if you underestimate it, you can get burned. All levels of golfers can play here, with four sets of tees. The greens are quite small which requires accuracy. All four Par 5's are reachable in two. Some short Par 4's mixed with challenging Par 3's. The staff has always been curteous and helpful. Around $40 peak weekend to play, but there is a great special during the week (M-F) to play 18/cart is $25/person! Reccommended.
