Crispin construction
The coarse isn’t playing normal due to excavation work happening. 2 of the holes moved up T boxes and the sound of bulldozers can be heard constantly on most holes
Tee boxes and greens
I play here frequently and I love the course. However, the tee boxes were in poor shape, needing moved, and the divots needed filled with sand, While that's not all on maintenance staff (golfers take some pride) moving the boxes around a little more would help. The greens also had a lot of unrepaired pitch marks. Cmon folks, fix your ball marks, I like playing here because of how well it is usually kept.
Disappointed
I’ve played the Palmer course multiple times and this was by far the worst. First the young man who checked us in was rude and charge one of my party full rate instead of the discount. The course was in rough shape. No The bunkers looked like they hadn’t been raked in over a week and the greens were chewed up. Finally there was no refreshment stand nor cart girl working at 3pm so if you didn’t get drinks before you started you now had limited options. I expect more out of a “premium” course.
Long wait between shots
Too many people on course, had to wait a long time between playing shots
The course is in great shape
We stayed at the lodge all week spent time with the grandkids a great place to stay and make memories plenty of stuff to do thank you Oglebay. We will be back.

Pace of play was terrible due to a group of 12 playing in a scramble and not letting anyone play through

Best shape the course had been in this year. As busy as they were we waited very little. Only down part was the guy at counter didn’t know how to do the golf now reservation on computer.

One of my favorites to play. Was a little busy on this day, but not miserable. The greens need a little work to run the same on each one.
