Not bad

Not a bad day...pretty course. Back 9 was better then the front...front had some holes that did not appeal to my eye. Staff was friendly pace was not bad. I would play again.

The course itself is good, but not great. It's the pricing and staff there that suck. To not have a 9 hole or twilight rate is a rip off. Competitors like Seattle Golf Courses, may not have a 9 hole rate but at least they have a twilight rate. 29 dollars for 9 holes on a course that's not like Druid's Glen or Newcastle in quality is just wrong (at 230p it's still that much, a competitor nearby offers 16 for that). Then to have a strict closed rule when there's still at least 45 minutes worth of daylight (chased me off for just playing 2 extra holes with 20 to 25 minutes of daylight left) is extreme, especially when the course was almost empty and you should appreciate the customers that came out to play and gave you a little revenue. Yea, it's their course and their rules but compared to other courses? They're very rigid, lighten up and realize that sometimes, there's grey instead of black or white all the time.

Nice course

I’ve played Auburn many times, but today was really nice. My friend and i played with 2 really nice guys and the conditions were excellent. The fairways were cut so nice, and we got such good roles even if you didn’t hit really good

Got a day to blow?....

Here's your place... Two fivesomes on the course on a Sunday afternoon. The one in front had at least two fully open holes in front of them that I saw on the back side. The marshall's are pleasant here but don't do their job. Hate to be a golf snob but this place attracts so many people who don't fix their divots or ball marks and play so slow. I won't play on the weekend here again. I will pay my extra $6 bucks and play a better course and get my money back from not buying their poor overpriced food and cigars.

Sunny &Chilly February round--very pleasant day

Played on Feb 2nd, teed off(blue tees just 6200yds) at 10:15AM. Round took 4hr 15min. This course drains very well for a winter round--fairways were wet but not soggy--rough was the normal light mud on ball. The greens were in extremely good shape. Nicely cut, good roll, no standing water, no discoloration or disease at all. Probably the best public course greens you will find anywhere. Nice variety of holes--all par 3's are either a forced carry over water or marsh or bunker. Tree lined fairways force a straight drive, par 4's are not long but are fun and interesting. Played on Superbowl Sunday for $32, a very good value. Saw a big beautiful Bald Eagle on #6 by the Cedar River. Played front nine as a single, finally caught 3some in front of me on #9. Joined them on back nine and one of the guys was a former Seahawk! Talk about some good karma for the game that night. Overall had a very nice round, would definitely recommend for a 10-20 hdcr--I'm a 12.
