Beautiful mountains surround Carson Hot Springs Spa & Golf Resort, giving it a peacefully secluded feel that is ideal for a round of golf. The hot springs were discovered in 1876 and the hotel, the original building that is still used as the front office, was completed in 1901. Now, in addition to the hot springs, there is an 18-hole golf course. The layout has a traditional links-style that is playable for all skill levels. The large greens are fast and undulating and there are 40 strategically placed bunkers throughout the course. It is not the most formidable test, but the layout is fair and there are some challenging holes. Golfers can also enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Columbia Gorge, scenery that is unique to this golf course.
