Camas Meadows G.C. is one of the most popular public golf courses in the Portland metro area. At 6,571 yards, it is on the shorter side for a championship course but it is still a challenging round, which makes it a good option for casual golfers who still want a high quality round of golf. The course sits next to Lacamas Lake, meandering across preserved wetlands, across grassy meadows covered with colorful flowers, and through forests of towering evergreens. It feels secluded but surprisingly, the golf course is just a short drive from the Portland International Airport. The narrow fairways are lined with trees and over 50 crushed white limestone bunkers surround the undulating greens. Water hazards also come into play on nearly every hole.
