Fun winter golf round
St. George Golf Club is a fun course that provides various challenges for most golfers, but I believe it is a course all levels can enjoy.
Checking in was easy and smooth, and we were called out to the tee box as scheduled; it was a busy morning, but every group seemed to tee off on time, but as the round progressed, it became obvious that we were not playing at a regular rate of speed; it seemed more like a tournament round with lots of delays and hold ups, particularly on the back nine. We caught up to a 4-some on #12 that was extremely slow; there was only one group ahead of them that was visible, but they were four holes ahead and we of no consequence; by the time we feed off on #12, another group was behind us, and this progressively got worse.
The course was in great shape for winter, and it played well; the greens were fast and provided their own challenges.
Very fun round; wish I could have played a second round.
St George
While the value is undeniable the course leaves something to be desired. The conditions were poor with patchy fairways and most greens as well. The course does not have a driving range so no chance to warm up. The pace of play was ok a little slow on the back 9, a it was a twosome behind a foursome. The course layout was pretty good rather straight forward. If you are looking for price this would be a good fit. If you are looking for great conditions or a bit more challenging then one of the other courses in St. George might work better.
Garbage
The course conditions are horrific. Multiple times I knew I was supposed to be in the fairway but it looked like rough or even huge dead patches that looked like out of bounds conditions. The sprinklers running in the fairway in the middle of the day during my round were an added touch.
Great value
Great course for the money. Fairly quick round (4 hours). Pretty good condition for mid April.
Nice municipal Course
Nice municipal course, not too difficult. Greens and fairways in good condition but rough was dried out. Pace of play good. Good bang for your buck.
Nice
Nice course but challenging on the back. Lots of water.
Good value and playable.
Good value and very walk-able. Has enough challenging holes to keep you thinking. Most putting surfaces are large and flat without lots of break but speed of greens can be fast and can be an issue. Good every day course.
A bit overpriced for this time of year.
Very forgiving course suitable for high handicappers such as myself. First time playing this course found the fairways to be fairly good shape. The greens however were not in the best of shape and very slow. It could be because it was early spring.
Good course for high handicappers
This course, set in a river valley, is level, with good grass and numerous water hazards. My wife and I (both in our late 70's) played from the forward tees on a great weekday morning. Weren't unduly held up by the foursome in front, and weren't pressed by anybody behind. Had a good time.

Good course
Excellent greens
Good value for the money, great time
Good course but lacks facilities
A nice lengthy flat course w/excellent greens. Really fun to play. Course has no driving range and the snack bar is closed. The par 4's are fairly short, the par 3's are long, and the par 5s are a fair length. From blue tees course is challenging but fair. Even the white tees test older 15 hndcpers. A thoroughly enjoyable golf experience.
Nice walk
Wide and forgiving fairways. Very walkable. Pretty mountain views.
Fun and windy
Course could have been better marked. Greens consistent. Green fairways were quite narrow. When wind got to steady 25 mph gusting to 40 mph course was tough.
All in all fun.
Nice course; big greens
This course is in generally good shape. While the fairways are a little dry (what can one expect in late October?), the course layout is interesting, and the greens are very large, without a lot of tricky breaks. There has been some vandalism to the greens on the back nine, but overall the greens are in very good condition. Friendly staff, easy to navigate the course for first-time players of it like us. Rough is not overly penal, making for a pleasant round.
