Logan River Golf Course
About
Logan River Golf Course is two things -- gorgeous and dangerous. The gorgeous half consists of the wild settings and solitude that comprise each hole. The dangerous half lurks in the marshes and thick grasses which boarder the fairways. Bring extra balls.
The Logan River flows through the golf course and fishermen are often found on it's shores. The course construction creates the illusion that the tees, fairways and greens have risen up from the floor of the riverside wetlands and ponds.
Water and waste areas come into play everywhere. Several of the holes require first and second shots over hazards. One par 5 even has an island fairway.
But, the same terrain that brings fear to the golfer is the same scenery which makes this course one of the best. Even though the Utah Golf Authority has never played a resort plantation course in the swamps of the South, we can't imagine that they'd be much prettier or challenging than Logan River.

Great Layout
Challenging course that makes you think. Abundant wetlands/water hazards. Beautiful scenery. Pace was a little slow but for a municipal course it wasn't too bad.
Enjoyable spring round
Logan River GC was in very good shape for a spring round; the pace of play was the only thing I could say could have been better, but that was really not bad; the greens were firm but not as quick as I have played at other courses this spring; I enjoyed the course and our group (two 2-somes) had a fun round.
We enjoy Logan River Golf
We enjoy Logan River and drive 45-50 min to get there...great drive. One of our favorite courses
Great round, glad it finally happened
After numerous (5+) attempts booking a tee time at Logan River GC, I was finally able to get it booked through my GolfNow app; I ha e been trying since the beginning of July (July 4th), and the issue with booking a tee time finally worked; I am very pleased.
As for the round, I couldn’t say enough positive things about the course and staff, but I will highlight some important things; the course was in fantastic shape and played well; the staff was very friendly; we were paired with an older husband/wife pair and had a wonderful round; the only bump was that the pace I’d play was a bit slow, and once we passed the group in front of us on #10, it was smooth sailing; very pleasant round; I look forward to playing there a couple more times before the season ends.
nice course
this course is can cost you a lot of strokes if you take too many risky shots. Need to make safe shots and you can score well. I thought the course was in very good shape and like the different elements of each hole.
Great course
Great course for a great price. It will challenge experienced players and help new players improve.
Love to play The River!
Logan River is a beautiful golf course with lots of fun challenges. I highly recommend it to anyone.
It’s where my family and friends prefer play.
Beautiful Golf Course
Winding through wetlands by the Logan RIver this is a beautiful challenging course. Water comes into play on 12 holes. The greens were in fantastic condition.
It's A Tough Cookie Of A Course
I was super excited when I arrived to play this lush course in Logan. It was pretty wet and saturated because of all the rain we've been having lately.
Don't let this place fool you, it's tough. Lots of marshland and water everywhere! I lost a ton of balls since you can't really walk into the areas with the 7-foot tall reeds. It's ok, it's super cheap to play ($12!) and it's great for practicing your game.
You can even see fish in the crystal clear ponds when you walk by to see if you can see the ball you lost.
Definitely recommend but not my all time favorite!
Challengin course with beautiful mountain views
A lot of narrow landing areas and plenty of water reward accurate drives. A little course knowledge and good distance control are essential for good course management; i.e. avoid hidden hazards. Professional and courteous staff add to a great day out on the course.
Golf Course with snow capped mountains
Great course in a wonderful setting, in very good condition for spring. The greens were in great shape.
Plenty of water so hitting it straight is a bonus.
Fun and Challenging course
I like Logan River...It has challenging Par 5's and risk reward Par 4's. I teach golf in the Ogden area and I like to take my students to Logan River as a mid-term skills test. It will chanllenge all levels of players.
