Good course, Bad staff

I took some of my family out to golf to say thanks for helping me out. Had a great time and enjoyed the course a lot but when we were putting on the 18th hole, a staff member showed up and accused us of doing donuts on the fairways and all sorts of other things. Not sure if there was someone behind us or in front of us doing those things but they said they saw us doing those things from the clubhouse. It was my family's first time golfing here and I think it's safe to say they will not be coming back. Good job guys.

Banill,

On behalf of Millsite Golf Course we are sorry you feel this way, however, there were 2 complaints about your group, children were driving the carts and your group was doing donuts on the fairways and driving into the desert area. We care about the course too much to allow it to be abused and the staff had the right to approach you and ask your group to respect the course. We support their actions 100% and would approach your groups behavior the same way every time.

Vacation Fun

Every year we camp in the mountains above the course and come down for a game or two. This year was the first year we played the back 9 and it was amazing!!! Very challenging course with narrow fairways but worth every penny for the view. Spring time when the spillway is running makes the front 9 a must play.

Great undiscovered mountain course, not too far off the beaten path.

This course was expanded to 18 holes recently (2011?). We played in early spring, before things greened up. The greens roll about as well as any western courses I have played. Lots of holes require lay up shots, because a full shot will send your ball over a cliff or into the desert. Several holes on the back nine require huge carry over canyons. But the forward tees are easy. It is a fun course to play. Great views of the lake and national forest. Hit it straight!
