Editor's Note: Course closed for business in 2008.
The Dupont employee course plays only 6,385 yards, but it is burdened by the wind and known for making a golfer use every club in his bag. The front nine seems to offer more birdie opportunities than the back, with two medium range par 3s, short par 5s, and par 4s that play under 400 yards. The toughest hole on the front is the 409-yard, par 4 hole 5. The back nine plays to a par 35 and features only one par 5, which follows the number one handicap hole. No. 4 is the longest par 4 at 454 yards, and is sure to leave you with a long iron into the green.
Getting there : Heading into Orange on I-10, turn south on Hwy 62 and drive to Hwy 105 (Western Ave.). Take Western east to Irving and turn right (south).
