Rusty Rail has received a bit of acclaim in the past, including being named by the Dallas Morning News as one of the top 9-hole courses in Texas. The layout features straight, wide-open fairways, and the length of the holes is enough to create quite a challenge. Both par 3s will require long irons. No. 2 is the signature hole, playing 187 yards over water, while No. 5 plays 173 yards. The course has only one par 5, the 512-yard No. 8 hole. All six par 4s play around 350 yards, so if you can keep the ball in the fairway, you have a great shot at reaching the green in regulation.
Getting there : From Hwy. 59, turn right on Prospect Rd. and travel 6 miles north to the course.
