Course conditions
I just want to mention the unfavorable course conditions, in addition to the amount of leaves there are, even if you see the ball fall you will not find it even on the fairway
Greens Fees reasonable, pace of play was excellent.
Weekday senior rates at course only $27.00. Great value for quality of Golf Course.
Nice little gem just outside if Houston
Red Wolf Golf Resort 7.5/10 - The silence stood out to me first. After playing in town most of last year, it was pleasant to just hear the wind whistling through the trees and birds chirping.
Course conditions were slightly above average. There was the occasional hard, compact tee box or spot on the fairway. The greens were pretty solid, just two or three that had waterlogged patches. No mosquitoes.
The layout is friendly with wide fairways and manageable distances. Not much elevation change and the greens didn’t have a lot of undulation.
Great Course
This a great course, has a nice layout with much of it wooded out of view of houses so it has a nice in the country feeling
Great little course
Red Wolf is the best course for the money. It’s not super hard but has great little challenges. Course layout makes you feel like you’re in the country no where close to town. Staff is super nice and very helpful
Great considering rain day before
Had a great time with my grandson.Course was in great condition considering rain the day before.Cart path only was tough have bad knee and being 73 yrs old.But the layout was so good.Played the whole 18 holes.
Had a reservation and when I got there the course was closed. No communication or notice
Red Wolf review
Have played this course for years, since it was known as Lochshire back in the 70s. Nice design. Not so difficult a weekend player can't enjoy it. Will definitely be back many more times.
Traveling golfer
Very nice laid out course. Great obstacles set up throughout to test your skills. Great price and Olivia is super nice and helpful
Decent course
Decent course greens are a little slow but alive so no real complaints there, fairways are about as alive as Biden is. Good place if you just want to go and have a fun time and rip some beers 43 bucks was a little step for the fairway and tee box conditions. Will play there again simply because you can walk on and not have to worry about getting paired up with randoms and pace of play is good. If the owner would spend the extra time and money on the fairways and green box’s it could really become a great course. Not the worse place I’ve played good for family play
