Love this course
I play this course several times a week. It’s in great shape with the exception of one green but it will come back. I’d recommend it to anyone who’s not wanting to pay a lot of money
Overton Park 9
First time playing since renovation. Layout is short and tight.. Generous greens which are hard and super fast. The course is not 100% completed, but getting there. Several holes have ground under repair, but still playable and adds some interesting hazards. Last time I played this iconic Memphis favorite was over 15yrs ago when I was in college. Love what they did with the new layout.
I’ll be back
The 9 holes at Overton Park are challenging for beginners but interesting enough to hold a low handicappers attention. I was in town for a brief visit but looking forward to playing again when I am in town in the fall.
Book on course website
This course is $10 to play on the course website. Don’t book through GolfNow.
Unkempt and inconsistent
Worst condition ever. Some greens were like a trampoline, others aerated and sandy. Spend more money and go play somewhere else.
Rustic relaxed golf
Fun little course in the heart of Memphis. I play it with irons and putter. Summer ground is hard and ball will ruuuuuuuun.
Rustic golf in the heart of Memphis.
Short, fun course. Rustic and old school with less than fair fairways. A great place to practice. If you’re “not quite ready for the tour,” then walk a quick round at Overton and have fun!
Great city course!
Amazing value on a beautiful historic course. Overton is one of the most beautiful 9 hole city courses in the South. Course and greens have been worked on the past few years and the transformations are so impressive. It's the go to course for us on any day we have some time to get a quick round in. Love it!
Nice little course
Greens are in the best shape they've been in years. Nice short course to walk and work on short game. Leave the driver in the car.
Beginners Course
In town city course by the Zoo. Par 34 nine holes. Very easy could be a par 3 with a few modifications. Staff was complacent.
Great executive course in historic Overton Park!
Always a great deal and enjoyable round at one of the oldest city courses in Tennessee. New carts and greens make this a must for visitors and Memphians.
A LOT of hard work has gone into the greens over the past few years and was worth the wait! Terrific time!
