Santee National Golf Club possesses all the charms of the Lowcountry with its landscape of rolling hills adorned with mossy live oaks. The classic layout features pristine white sand bunkers and five strategically positioned lakes that come into play throughout. Renovations in 2005 added new Champion Bermuda greens, freshly shaped bunkers, and an additional 200 trees to the already dense hardwood forests. The updated golf course is now more challenging but with four sets of tees, it is still accessible for players of all skill levels. The golf course finishes with its signature hole, a tricky and scenic par-5 with a lake on the left, trees lining the fairway, and bunkers surrounding the green. Santee National Golf Club is a local favorite and is quickly gaining popularity with visitors as well.
