Description
Opened for play in 1966, Litchfield was one of the original eight courses built on the Grand Strand. Though many courses might have tweaked their design over that period of time, the course has maintained its original features, including player-friendly greenside pathways for bump-and-run approach shots.
Litchfield has consistently been cited as one of the top attractions in Myrtle Beach. Ranked by Conde Nast as one of the "world's 50 best" and cited for having one of the "100 greatest holes along the Grand Strand" by The Sun News, Litchfield is among the elite in Myrtle Beach.
