The Greg Norman-designed golf course at Barefoot Resort in Myrtle Beach features seven holes set along the Intracoastal Waterway. The par-72 course presents a challenge for golfers of any skill level and handicap.
Both natural vegetation and stunning waste areas frame each hole at Barefoot Norman and many of the fairways flow in the wild areas surrounding the golf course. Norman also challenges golfers with occasional sod-wall bunkers throughout the course. Bump-and-run shots will be key on this 7,200-yard course.
The course's A-1 bentgrass greens - some 6,300 square feet on average - are gently undulating. Fairways and tees are GN-1, a turf developed by Greg Norman Turf.
