Barefoot Resort & Golf boasts four championship courses designed by some of the most well known names in golf, including Tom Fazio and Pete Dye. Situated in the heart of the Lowcountry in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, each golf course offers a different golfing experience but the same beautiful setting. The Dye Course borders the pristine white sands of the Carolina Bays, providing a stunning contrast to the lush greens. It’s the resort's only semi-private course and many who have played it say that it’s the most difficult of all the courses. Dye incorporated challenges that have become synonymous with his name, including the interesting use of the native grasses. You’ll find his signature pitfalls throughout the golf course, but Dye also crafted different tees that make the course playable for a wide range of skill levels.
