The Pinehills Course is one of two championship courses at Myrtlewood Golf Club, which sits along a scenic stretch of the Intracoastal Waterway along South Carolina's Grand Strand. The club is conveniently situated right in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Designed by Arthur Hills, the golf course was known as simply the Pines until 1993 when its name was officially changed to the Pinehills. It is routed along the same path as the club's original course, the Palmetto, but it still provides a unique round. The course was carefully designed with intricate mounding and strategically placed water hazards that give it a completely different feel from its sister golf course.
