The Dunes Golf and Beach Club was built on 270 acres of land that architect Trent Jones described as "a lovely piece of land studded with live oaks where the Singleton Swash empties into the Atlantic Ocean." The Dunes features long tees, well-defined fairway traps to give the player a target off the tee, and huge, elevated greens.
In recent years the course has seen its greens restored by Rees Jones, played host to the Senior PGA Tour Championship and been ranked in Golf Digest's "Top 100 in America."
