The golf course at the Spanish Wells Club is a nine-hole course that went under major renovation in the summer of 2005. The re-designed layout was created by George Cobb. Cobb designed the first golf course on Hilton Head as well as several other courses on the island. The private course rewards good shots, therefore providing a fun game of golf. Spanish Wells plays to a par of 36 and it is 2,963 yards at its longest tees. The greens are covered in Bermuda grass. The course weaves through tall oak trees providing a nice atmosphere for a short, fun round.
