The 18-hole course at the Sea Pines Country Club is the only private course at Sea Pines. It is the original course of the club. Designed by Arnold Palmer, the golf course is 6,383 yards from the back tees with a par of 72. Originally designed by Arnold Palmer and Frank Duane, the course opened in 1960. In 2001, however, Sea Pines underwent major renovations by Clyde Johnston. The course is suitable for players of all skill levels. Undulating fairways and bunkered greens add some challenge. Water hazards also come into play on several holes.
