The Planter's Row Course is one of three 18-hole, public courses at the Port Royal Golf Club. All three were designed by three different renowned golf designers. This course was designed by William C. Byrd and opened in 1983, making it younger than the Barony Course at the Club. The course is also slightly smaller than the Barony Course at 6,520 yards, playing to a par of 72. The course features rolling, tree-lined fairways and large, undulating greens. Water hazards also come into play on several holes and there are even hidden hazards that can't be seen from the teeboxes. Planter's Row provides a more park-like environment than the two other courses at Port Royal Golf Club.
