The Golf Club at Indigo Run boasts the only Nicklaus Signature Course on Hilton Head, it was the first course in the U.S. created by Jack Nicklaus and his son, Jack Nicklaus II. When it opened in 1996, Golf Digest named it one of the Top Ten New Private Courses. The Golf Club at Indigo Run possesses a traditional links-style layout. The private, 18-hole course is 7,072 yards from its longest tees with a par of 72. The greens and fairways are covered in Bermuda grass. The club also has a practice facility that was designed by the father and son Nicklaus team.
