Shipyard Golf Club consists of three 18-hole golf courses that have interconnecting nines. The Clipper/Galleon Course is the largest of the three, covering 6,878 yards at its longest tees with a par of 72. It is also the original course at Shipyard Golf Club. The golf courses put an emphasis on strategy, such as accurate shot-making and well calculated approaches, rather than sheer power. The undulating greens of the courses are large and well-bunkered. The Clipper/Galleon course features long fairways and several other hazards. Shipyard Golf Club was named one of the Top 75 U.S. Golf Resorts by Golf Digest.
