Located just outside of Columbia, The Windermere Club is the only Pete Dye design in the Midlands. The golf course sits along the banks of the 270-acre lake from which it gets its name. Dye crafted a diverse layout with no two holes alike and risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to both low and high handicappers. Well manicured, gently rolling fairways lead to lightning fast greens. Strategically placed bunkers come into play throughout and there is also water on a few holes. The golf course has many memorable holes and it is quite challenging, but with only one forced carry and no severe doglegs, it's gentle enough for beginners. There are five, and sometimes even six, tees on every hole, making it even more accessible for any skill level.
