Good to walk, except for the bugs
Nice layout, but extremely buggy. Greens are in nice shape, but a few spots on the back nine fairways need better drainage. Dry township, so no beer can be purchased. Good merchandising in the small pro shop, but the snack bar leaves something to be desired. Easy to score from the White tees, but Blue tees are much more challenging. With some attention, this could be a great layout!
Nice course, moderately challenging.
This was my third time playing this course, and I still think it is moderately challenging. It is quite easy to get behind a tree with an errant shot. But the course was in excellent condition, greens were nearly the best I've seen all season. Staff was great. It is a dry township, so no beer available for sale. I brought my own beer, starter saw my cooler, said nothing. I'm certainly not saying the same will happen for you, but it's worth a shot... Enjoy the course (with or without beer) because it is definitely worth trying.
very nice
nice layout, pretty open, keeping stray drives in play. Beautiful greens. Relatively flat course, fairly forgiving. Friendly staff with nice proshop. I'd play here again for sure.
Stalking Starter & Skip Eating @ Turn
Starter walked 60 yards to interrupt first tee routine - so annoying and wouldn't leave after he got the hint. Completely unnecessary. AND if you want food @ turn, watch for incoming golfers - owner will remove food service gloves at hot dog cooker to take their money first. WE SKIPPED THE DOGS & VOWED NEVER TO RETURN!!!
Nice easy course
This course is pretty easy going. Not much elevation change and pretty open. It is a great amatuer course. The greens are well kept.
Flat and Well Maintained
Not a hilly course, and it is well-maintained. The greens were recently aerated so they were bumpy, slow, didn't roll true, and needed cut. Fairways are mostly tree-lined and well taken care of. I will play again.
Beaver
course was in OK condition.. lots of bugs which drove us crazy! annoying! Short holes.
bug's
It's good course. The bug's are out of control. Had at least 10 bites on my legs
Great bang for the buck
Played well, not crowded.
All was well.
All they need is beer!
Great beginner course
Great time playing today. But noticed not enough ball washers on course and when I went to clean my spikes off after playing 18, I had more grass on them after I ran my shoes through it. Lol. But it's a good course if your new to the game and want to learn on a forgiving course.
Stonecrest
Not a good course. No way worth $40. Maybe $25. I wouldn't bother.
Would play again!
A great deal of rain the previous few days made the course very wet and the "cart path only" rule was in effect. Besides that I enjoyed the layout and look forward to playing again when conditions are dry. Also note this course is in a 'dry' township so no beer is available in the clubhouse.
Course in nice shape considering poor weather conditions.
Played in and out of rainstorms. For as much rain as we've had course remained in pretty good shape. Staff very friendly. Will definitely play again.
Nice course to play.
Very nice course to play. Cart path only because of wet grounds. We will play again. Staff is very friendly. Course in very good shape for this time of year.
soggy, but fun
Asde from all of the rainfall, the course was in great condition! fairways and greens were in great shape...definitely worth the $25 to play. Will play again when it dries out
COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR NOVEMBER
REALLY GOOD COURSE FOR PLAYERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS
Very enjoyable course in fine condition
Everyone in the group enjoyed the course and the day even though we dumped three balls into the pond in front of the 9th green. It was a great afternoon at Pinecrest.
Beautiful greens for Oct.
The course is in great shape for Oct. Fairways and sand traps were pristine.Well worth the drive to play.
Stonecrest
Nice course. Well-maintained, especially for the end of October. Greens were nice, not very undulated. Good mix of holes, short course compared to most, but not easy. Would definitely play again.
Great deal
Having grown up playing Stonecrest, it was fun to go back and play it again. I had not played the course for several years, but found it to be in great shape as expected. The price paid was more than reasonable and I'll definitely do this again.
